Evan McMullin was born in Provo, served as a Mormon missionary in Brazil, and graduated from Brigham Young University. He then served for 11 years in the CIA and later as chief policy director for Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Evan is running for president because voters deserve a candidate they can be proud to support, not just the lesser of two evils. Our votes are our voices; we cannot elect wise and truthful leaders unless we use our votes to speak out for good and against corruption and bigotry.
Evan believes that leaders must remain faithful to the Constitution and its principles of limited government, including the Second Amendment. He is also an advocate of religious liberty who believes that every life is precious.
Evan believes that by cutting red tape and taxes we can create good jobs and get the economy moving again. He also has a deep commitment to fighting poverty and improving education so all Americans have the chance to succeed.
Evan is the only candidate who’s actually fought terrorism on the front lines. He believes it is time to rebuild our military and end the neglect of our veterans.
