You must have a valid Utah driver license or valid Utah ID to update your ballot mailing address using the online system. However, there are other ways you can update your ballot mailing address:

  • Update your ballot mailing address by filling out a paper form and sending it to your county clerk’s office. Your form must be received by your county clerk no later than 11 days before the election.
  • Update your ballot mailing address at your county clerk’s office. You must do this at least 11 days before the election. Find your county clerk’s office.

If you would like to update your ballot mailing address online, you must begin by changing the address of your Utah driver license or Utah ID, which can be done online at this link (a new licence or ID will not be issued to you). After you change the address, you can update your ballot mailing address using voter.utah.gov.

If you do not want to update your ballot mailing address using the online system, there are other ways you can do so:
