Submit Your Candidate Profile
Congratulations on your decision to participate in Utah’s elections this year.
Please carefully read these instructions and the candidate profile instructions you received when filing.
Subscribing to Receive Candidate Profile Information
Please click the link below to subscribe to our candidate profile mailing list. Our office recommends that all candidates, regardless of whether they will be participating in a primary, complete this action by January 22.
Primary election candidates who subscribe to the list before January 22 will receive an email link to complete their profile beginning April 29. Links will continue to be sent weekly to primary election candidates who subscribe after this date, and daily the last week profiles can be submitted.
Candidates who do not have a primary election and general election candidates will receive submission instructions at a later date.

Candidate Profile Submission Requirements
Candidates will only be able to submit their profile once, and edits after submission cannot be accommodated. For this reason, our office recommends writing, editing, and proofreading your profile prior to submission. Per statute, the text of the bio must be 200 words or less. (See 20A-7-801(4)) You should also have a photo selected and saved in .png or .jpg format, should you wish to include one. The form will auto save, so if for some reason you need to exit the profile submission page prior to submitting, the information you have already entered will be present when you return.
Please note that primary election candidates who move on to the general election must submit a profile for the general election as well; primary election profiles do not automatically carry over. General election candidates will receive instructions at a later date on how to submit their profiles.
