Additional Information for Mail Ballot

Do you have a valid Utah driver license or valid Utah ID?

You must have a valid Utah driver license or valid Utah ID to request a mail ballot online. However, there are other ways you can request a ballot:

  • Request a ballot by filling out a paper form and mailing it to your county clerk's office. Your form must be received at least 7 days before the election.
  • Request a ballot at your county clerk's office. You must do this at least 7 days before the election. Find your county clerk's office.

Does the address on your valid Utah driver license or valid Utah ID match your current address?

To request a mail ballot using the online system, please visit voter.utah.gov.

If you would like to request a mail ballot online, you must begin by changing the address of your Utah driver license or Utah ID, which can be done online at this link (a new license or ID will not be issued to you). After you change the address, you can request a mail ballot using voter.utah.gov.

If you do not want to request a mail ballot using the online system, there are other ways you can do so:
